At Andromeda Magazine, we deeply appreciate every submission and the support of writers who contribute to our publication. As a small, independent magazine, every submission fee helps us cover editorial costs, maintain the magazine, and support the writing community.
- Refund Policy
We understand that mistakes can happen, and we want to be fair while also protecting our business. Refunds are available under the following conditions:
a) You email us within 30 days of your payment at info@andromedamagazine.com to request a refund.
b) Your payment was made without your authorisation (e.g., fraudulent card use).
c) You accidentally paid twice for the same submission.
- No Refunds in Other Circumstances
Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds if:
a) You changed your mind after submission.
b) Your story was not accepted for publication.
c) You submitted the wrong file or an incomplete manuscript. – please email us with a proof of payment and we will be happy to let you know how to submit the right file/submit the story without paying twice.
d) You forgot to adjust the fee before submitting.
- No Chargebacks or Payment Disputes
Filing a chargeback through your bank or payment provider violates this policy.
Disputes create additional costs for us that far exceed the submission fee and can threaten the future of Andromeda Magazine.
If a chargeback is initiated, we will provide proof of the refund policy and agreement at checkout to the payment processor.
If a chargeback is filed instead of requesting a refund through us, you may be permanently banned from submitting in the future. - How to Request a Refund
